A tour of  Powerscourt House & Gardens and a guided tour of the 6^th century monastic settlement at Glendalough, Co. Wicklow will be arranged for symposium participants on 24^th June 2010.  The tour bus will depart from Maynooth in the morning and return to Maynooth in the late afternoon.  The booking fee for the tour is €30/person.  This fee includes cost of bus hire, tour guide hire, group admittance to Powerscourt Gardens, audio-visual presentation at Glendalough visitor centre, and a guided tour of the monastic settlement at Glendalough.  Lunch will be available at Powerscourt Estate but is not included in the booking fee.
